The design of the CantoniLAB spaces, a healthcare outpatient clinic in Milan specialising in specialist medicine, rehabilitation, and sports medicine, is developed by Progetto CMR, which was responsible for the concept design, detailed design, artistic direction, and interior graphics.

The project, spanning over 1,200 sqm at Via Cantoni 7, translates CantoniLAB’s multidisciplinary approach into a contemporary, technologically advanced environment focused on people’s wellbeing. The spaces integrate state-of-the-art medical equipment within a warm and welcoming architectural language, strongly inspired by nature and its elements

The design concept is based on the interplay between existing structural pillars and functional “boxes” that clearly and intuitively organise circulation and spatial layout. Both shared and private areas are structured around four key themes — human care, nature, technology, and water — which define the identity of the entire project..

The project is characterised by a clean and luminous architectural language, where transparency, comfort, and perceptual quality shape the environments dedicated to outpatient clinics, rehabilitation gyms, training, and research, placing the experience of both patients and healthcare professionals at the centre.
