DHL Express Italy Venice Gateway
.
The new DHL Express Italy Gateway in Venice has been conceived as a contemporary logistics infrastructure where operational efficiency, environmental quality, and people’s well-being coexist within an integrated architectural system.
.
The project is based on the idea that comfort and environmental quality are fundamental elements in promoting workplace well-being, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among employees. From this vision emerge stimulating, dynamic, and comfortable environments designed to support both operational and administrative activities.
Particular attention has been given to the environmental quality of all working spaces, including those dedicated to logistics management. Natural light, spatial organization, and shared areas contribute to creating a healthier and more engaging workplace experience.
.
At the core of the project is the “Connector” area, an internal green square around which operational spaces and administrative offices are organized. Conceived as a central hub for interaction and relationships, the Connector encourages dialogue between different departments while also offering spaces dedicated to relaxation and decompression.
The architectural identity reflects DHL’s corporate image through the use of the brand’s signature yellow and red colors, transforming the logistics gateway into a recognizable and people-oriented environment.
The project represents a contemporary vision of logistics architecture, where innovation, operational performance, and workplace quality are integrated into a single coherent experience.
