The need to individuate a new centre in order to rationalise the existing sities on roman territory. Operating cost controls and co-ordination of the corporate image in the light of the acquisition by Compaq of Digital Equipment. Maximum functionality and flexibility were requested for the cohabitation in a single location of the divisions to be included. Finance & Administartion, sales 6 marketing, sa support, Customer Service and Software.
The new Cinecittà Due complex was a winner from both the logistics and image viewpoints. This internal project saw the employment of versatile furnishing typologies to meet the criteria of flexibility for the various work groups. The image of the spaces expresses a younger, modern idea, in line with Compaq's new style.

INTEGRATION

The Compaq building was realised via a full consultation service by Progetto CMR: feasibility studies, preliminary, civil, plant engineering, interior design, space planning, engineering and technical & safety.

PROCESS

Begun in February 1999, the consultation for Compaq concluded with its moving into the new officies in September of the same year.
